Do you have an Instagram profile for your business? If so, you are probably familiar with the link feature in your bio. This allows you to select exactly which page you want to link to – whether it’s your online shop, a size guide, a contact form, a special offer – in fact, any page you wish to direct visitors from your profile towards.

But if you know this feature, you will also be aware of the challenge that comes when you want to link to more than one page. Perhaps you are running several promotions at once or have time-limited campaigns and offers. Maybe you would also like to link to your Facebook page, LinkedIn profile, or Snapchat?

The problem is, you always have to remember to update the bio link to the relevant offer, or change it back again once the promotion has ended.

It can be tricky to juggle multiple pages when you need to manually remember to update, remove, and change links.

That’s why I’d like to share a quick tip to make managing your Instagram a little easier day to day.

All your links in one place with Linktree

Linktree is a platform that can connect your followers with your entire online presence – not just a single page at a time. With Linktree, you can easily create a form featuring all the links you want your customers to find. It’s quick and straightforward.

Now you might be thinking, “That sounds like extra work.” But I’d bet a Danish pastry that, once you’ve set up your Linktree, you’ll never have to update, change, or remove your Instagram links again. As Linktree themselves say: “The only link you’ll ever need”.

With these five simple steps, you can update your Instagram bio in just 10 minutes. Shall we take a look? Follow the guide below.

How to set up Linktree

Step 1:

Create a free account using your email, username, and a password here. You will receive a confirmation email from Linktree. Once confirmed, enter your business name and select up to three categories that best describe your business.

Step 2:

Your profile is now set up and you’re ready for the fun part – creating your form with the links you want.
Click “Add New Link”. Here you can enter the desired URL and name the link. You’ll see your link appear in the preview on the right. If you want to add more links, just keep clicking “Add New Link”. To remove a link, simply click the small bin icon to delete it, or swipe the button to the left to hide the link without deleting it from your form.

Step 3:

When you are happy with your links, you can customise the appearance of your form to suit your business. Click “Appearance” at the top left. Here you can upload your logo, write a short description of your business, add your username, and change the colour of your form.

Step 4:

Almost there! If you want to add links to your Facebook page, LinkedIn profile, Twitter account, contact email, and more (!!), go to Settings (also at the top left), where you can add a range of social links. Your social links will then appear as icons at the bottom of your form.

Step 5:

There’s just one thing left to do. Copy your Linktree link and paste it into your Instagram bio. At the top right, you can copy your Linktree link – ready to paste in.

And that’s it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right?
Now your customers will find a single link in your bio that leads them to all your most important pages. Below you can see an example of how the link in your Instagram bio appears and how a form can be designed.
