The pursuit of a successful launch

SnowTours is a 100% Danish-owned online travel agency, specialising in ski holidays to a wide range of destinations in Austria and Germany. Their trips are offered at prices that make skiing accessible to all, without compromising on safety or quality. They proudly operate under the slogan “Denmark’s cheapest ski holidays”, supported by their core values of affordability, safety and simplicity.

SnowTours is run by a highly experienced team, delivering first-class service and expert advice within ski travel. Before launching, it was crucial for them to establish a dedicated customer club, and this is where WeMarket came in with the necessary expertise and guidance.

Working with WeMarket has delivered impressive and measurable results that have strengthened SnowTours and made a significant difference.

SnowTours wanted to build a base of newsletter subscribers before launch

Jakob Birk, founder of SnowTours, returned to WeMarket due to their previous successful collaboration in another context. Facing the challenge of launching the newly established online travel agency, SnowTours, the goal was to create a strong foundation by building a base of newsletter subscribers prior to launch. The hope was that there would be a dedicated group of people already engaged with SnowTours and its offerings when it was introduced. By building an enthusiastic base of newsletter subscribers, SnowTours had already laid the groundwork for a successful launch.

Effective advertising strategy that delivers results

The collaboration culminated with the launch of SnowTours. In just 60 days, we managed to collect nearly 15,000 newsletter sign-ups at an excellent price of 4.10 kroner per subscriber, generating valuable traffic for SnowTours.

We quickly accelerated a special strategy called Build In Public. The idea is simple: share openly what you are working on so people can follow the process. We advised Jakob to share his experience and promote his new mission to offer affordable ski holidays. Videos were regularly produced for social media, sharing the process, experiences and key milestones – such as the number of newsletter subscribers.

Every week we pitched new ideas and provided Jakob with script suggestions. He managed the video recordings himself and sent them back to us, so we could use them for effective advertising on Facebook. This collaboration not only increased awareness of SnowTours but also established an authentic connection with the target audience, which was crucial for the successful launch.

A unique approach to successful advertising and audience connection

Through our partnership, SnowTours and WeMarket have not only achieved results but also built a bridge between business and customers through our unique approach to advertising. By taking people behind the scenes of SnowTours’ development, we have created a sense of community and openness surrounding the company’s mission. This approach has not only attracted attention but also helped establish an authentic connection with the target audience.

Through effective communication, dedication and creativity, we achieved a successful launch, with our strategic approach resulting in visible outcomes.
