Traffic plateaued, but the market kept moving

A detailed analysis of market search behaviour revealed significant untapped potential. Pluspige.dk already had the products and range, but Google was missing structured, targeted pages that could link the supply to the actual demand.

As part of the initiative, more than 300 existing landing pages were updated in Danish and a further 300 in Norwegian. At the same time, over 100 brand new pages were created to cover relevant product combinations and expand overall visibility. Particular focus was given to strengthening the presence of well-known plus size brands such as Evoked Vila, Only Carmakoma, Cassiopeia, Zoey, Zizzi, and Zhenzi.

SEO shifted from being a stable channel to becoming an active growth driver, boosting visibility, creating new entry points, and opening up business opportunities that had previously gone unseen in the market.

It quickly became clear that a traditional approach to SEO was not enough to tackle the task. Creating and maintaining several hundred individual landing pages with manually written content would take months and prove costly. At the same time, it would tie up internal resources and distract from other business-critical tasks. That model was neither scalable nor financially sustainable.

Programmatic SEO became the engine for structured, scalable growth

We developed a tailored programmatic SEO structure that linked Pluspige.dk’s product data to the market’s actual search behaviour. We started with the existing content on the site and created a clear structure, ensuring every page was optimised to drive organic revenue.

As the next step, we identified product areas that lacked dedicated category pages. Based on this, we created over 100 new, strategically important landing pages to match market demand. In addition, we updated more than 300 existing landing pages in Danish and another 300 in Norwegian, enabling them to perform better in search engines and increase visibility for both product-level and brand-specific searches.

The result was a massive expansion of Pluspige.dk’s organic reach. After just six months, over 4,000 new keywords had been indexed in Google. Visibility was not only greater – it was also far more targeted and valuable to the business.

Growth in traffic, visibility and sales

After 6 months with programmatic SEO, the results were clear. Overall organic traffic increased by 30 percent. More than 4,000 new keywords were registered in Google. Of these, 432 ranked in the top 3 and 843 were on page 1, where clicks and conversions happen.

The most significant effect became evident when segmenting the traffic. Non-brand traffic increased by 79 percent from March 2024 to March 2025, while brand traffic declined over the same period. This clearly demonstrates that growth did not come from existing customers or brand awareness. It came from new customers who discovered Pluspige.dk through targeted searches – traffic that would otherwise have gone to competitors.

And all this happened without changing the organisation. No extra staff. No increased operational costs. Programmatic SEO delivered a business-critical boost without putting pressure on the team.
